Hi my name is Shin Ja Kim and I have been a struggling
artist ever
since I could remember. I have a degree in Fine arts and went to Center for Creative Studies in Detroit
Michigan for five years. I really should have gone for graphics as that is my naturel drawing and esthetic
preference. But I feel all that I have learned in Fine Arts has really given my graphic art a much richer
feel and not as cold or sterile as some graphic art can be. I love comics, action figures, cartoons and
especially Manga and Mahnwa. My personnel style is a mix between Manga/Mahnwa and American comic book art.
Although I can change up my style if my client prefers. I also use an eclectic variety of materials to
accomplish a sense of depth and emotion. I have done many commissions which include doing covers for
published sci-fi stories. I hope you would consider me for any future commission ideas.
